Contest
Contest Rules
- Each contestant must be of male gender according
to his Washington State ID.
- Each contestant must be at least 21 years of age.
- Each contestant must have resided in Washington
State for a minimum of six (6) months prior to the date of application.
- Each contestant must reside within the Seattle metropolitan
area (Defined as King, Pierce, Snohomish, and Kitsap counties), and
if chosen winner, must continue residence for the duration of the
title year. If unable to fulfill this duty, the title will be passed
on to the first runner-up.
- Each contestant must be available to participate
fully in all contest-related activities, including contest, any rehearsals,
interviews, and meetings with contest officials throughout the day
of the contest. (Allowances can be made by individual request
with the prior approval of the president of SML.)
- Because the contest is held in a liquor establishment,
contestants must be aware of the parameters of WAC 314-11-050 (attached
to the contest application). At any time, should a contestant
knowingly violate one of these rules, they will be immediately disqualified
and may be asked to leave the establishment.
