Bryan Harrison

Member of Seattle Men in Leather

Bryan Harrison has been actively depraved since the age of eight, when he tied a heathen neighbor child to a discarded Christmas tree and set it on fire, all the while chanting “Recant!  Recant!” in honor of his Catholic forebears.  While he has refined his technique in subsequent years, his youthful joi de vivre remains undiminished despite 20 years of plague and A-Gay wannabees who snarl, “You leather freaks are the reason decent people like us can’t get married.”

Since being deported from San Francisco for overturning trash cans while wearing a raccoon-tail buttplug, Bryan has served the Seattle leather community by enthusiastically expressing unpopular opinions over brunch.  He has judged and MC’d assorted contests, and is still struggling with the awful disappointment of learning that the contestants are not actually on trial and that the winners will not be punished for their crimes.

Rob Grant

Washington State Mr. Leather 2006

Originally from the Deep South, Rob moved to Washington State in 1988 for work and spent most of his year since on the Eastern side of the mountains.  A real “Daddy,” Rob is the father of an incredible daughter who never fails to teach him important life lessons.

Relocating to the Seattle area in 2005, he transplanted his successful massage therapy practice and was welcomed with open arms into the Seattle leather community.

An avid motorcyclist, Rob enjoys taking to the road, meeting new friends and experiencing a healthy, active lifestyle in the Pacific Northwest.  When not introducing someone to the persuasive side of a flogger, Rob can be found working on his boat or one of his latest projects, working out at the gym, or two-stepping at the Cuff.

Lancer Forney

Co-Founder, Seattle Women of Leather

I discovered the leather and BDSM communities upon moving to Seattle, via the Wet Spot, in 1999.  I then became involved in the Imperial Court of Seattle in 2000.  Basically disillusioned with the vanilla drag/gay scenes, I found myself out more and more in leather arenas.

As a titleholder in the Court, I co-founded the first Mr. and Ms. Gothic Seattle Contest, in 2001, as my fundraiser and a vehicle for the goth community, of which I am also a part of.  I then saw a lack of women’s leather involvement in the leather community at large.  As a result, I co-founded Seattle Women of Leather in 2004.  I also discovered my leatherboy identity, pre-transition, in 2003, and became a charter member of Seattle Boys of Leather.  I continue to serve SBOL as Secretary and events co-chair, as well as SWL as a member-at-large.

Audience Vote
Each attendee will receive a pair of paper ballots at the door.  Audience members are each entitled to vote for the Leather Daddy and Daddy’s Boy candidates of their choice (one vote per person for each title).  Each ballot equals one point, which is added to the score from the judges to reach the final scores for each contestant.

Scoring System

The Seattle Leather Daddy & Daddy’s Boy Contest uses the Olympic Scoring System, in which the highest and lowest scores for each contestant in each category are discarded.  This method reduces the chances that a single judge’s scores will overwhelm those of the others.
