Seattle Men in Leather will be hosting this year’s contest at The Cuff. We wish to thank Daddy Carl and Boy Kirk for their hard work this past year, and in trying to secure contestants for the contest.

The Meet-n-Greet/Dress Code Social (Friday night) and Leather Brunch (Sunday) portions of the weekend are regular Settle Men in Leather events, merely shifted out a few days to conicide with the contest weekend.

In addition to the regular Dress Code Social activities, we will have a couple fundraisers for Lambert House, and Carl and Kirk will be recognized for their service during the year.

The Seattle Leather Daddy and Daddy’s Boy Contest occurs the weekend following Thanksgiving each year.  The contest weekend includes a Friday night Meet-n-Greet, the Contest on Saturday night, and a Sunday Victory Brunch.  Most events occur at Seattle Men in Leather’s home bar, The Cuff Complex.

Seattle Men in Leather produces a contest program each year, containing bios of the judges, a history of the contest, and advertisements from sponsors and local businesses.

Judges for the contest are mostly local to the Seattle area, and typically include at least one drawn from the general Seattle Men in Leather membership (as opposed to a titleholder or other “name” member of the leather community).  In a special twist, the audience at the contest also receives one ballot for each title, enabling the community itself to have a direct say in who its representatives will be.

The Seattle Leather Daddy and Seattle Daddy’s Boy titleholders are expected to put on or participate in several club fundraisers during the year, and they are encouraged to do additional fundraising events of their own.  The titleholders are not expected to compete at regional, national, or international contests, and they may not hold another leather title during their year.
